Audrey Downey
12 years of service on the LCF Board
Audrey considers herself a “lifelong” resident of Lexington. Her four children were raised in Lexington and graduated from Lexington High School. Audrey has been in education for over 42 years and recently retired from her position as the Lexington High School Principal. She keeps busy as a substitute administrator/secretary/teacher for Lexington Public schools, supervising student teacher candidates for UNK, serving on the Kearney Help Care Board and is a member of the Children’s worship team and Scholarship committee at First United Methodist Church.
Her husband, Tom, is the president of Downey Drilling Inc.
