Nuria Lemus

Nuria was born and raised in Michoacán, Mexico, and moved to Lexington at the age of 10. A proud graduate of Lexington High School and the University of Nebraska in Kearney, Nuria is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As a Bilingual College Planning Specialist with EducationQuest Foundation, Nuria is dedicated to helping students achieve their higher education goals. In addition to her professional role, Nuria owns Eventos LLC, an event planning and coordinating business, and is a partner of family-owned Taqueria Max, a Mexican restaurant in Lexington. Her husband, Joel Lemus, is a school counselor at Lexington High School and the head coach of the Lexington Minutemen Fútbol team. Together, they are raising three children, Benjamin, Isabel and Sebastian.
